CHANNEL 19 MAKES THE SWITCH TO DIGITAL
In partnership with Insight Cable, Channel 19 is now a digital channel. This allows us to prepare for high-definition broadcasts and also provides a far superior picture for all programs. If you have Insight Cable, you can receive Channel 19. There is no extra charge. Below are three possible scenarios and details about how to handle the switch in each case.
1. If you already have a cable box, nothing has changed. If you have an Insight DVR, you simply need to reinitialize the device.
2. If you have a digital television and no cable box, you only need to re-scan your channels. Our digital channel number, which you'll need in this situation, is 96.9.
3. If you have an analog television, you will need a digital cable box; which Insight will provide for one year at no charge. If this is your situation, contact Insight at (502) 357-4400.
